Putting text on a circular path is not child’s play unless you have a Mac app that specializes in the trickery. High end graphic design applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator do the deeds, but also require a monthly subscription for the privilege.

Font size, circle diameter and radius, as well as color styles can be setup using precise numerical values.
TextAround2 comes with over 100 different preset color styles. Text can be placed on a circular or horizontal path. Color gradation angle can be adjust in real time, too.
There’s also an option to export a number of image frames to create an animation of text changing color or rotating.
What’s interesting about TextAround is the focus only on placing text along a path. That’s about all it does and it’s priced a few dollars less that the far more capable Art Text for the Mac. And, a few dollars more gets you 100 additional fonts. When you’re creating text art you can never have too many fonts.
