Following the dark ages of Windows XP and Internet Explorer, the web is moving forward, coming of age and even showing signs of maturity. Flash is finally dying a slow, albeit agonizingly slow, death, and the age of web page layout and design is rife with HTML5 and CSS3.
While not as robust with bells and whistles as Flash, Hype supports many capabilities such as 3D transformations, shadows, color shifts, blurring, and more. Unlike Flash animations, Hype exports code which displays well on all major and modern browsers, including those on smart phones and tablets.
As much as Hype is point and click there’s an editor which lets you write custom code functions that are triggered by a user’s actions or at set times in the timeline.
