Much of my day is devoted to slaving over a hot keyboard. Throughout the day I’ll have ideas and thoughts pop into my head and if I don’t take a moment to jot them down sometimes they disappear forever.
If that happens to you then you’re likely to appreciate SwiftText, a one-click, Menubar scratchpad for quick notes. It’s handy, but there’s not much to it. Learning all the functions takes all of 30 seconds.
Click the icon in the Menubar and get a pop up window– the scratchpad for notes.
Power users will appreciate the option to avoid using the mouse or trackpad, and simply get SwiftText onscreen by using the keyboard shortcut.
SwiftText saves what you put into the scratchpad.
It’s simple, useful, fast, and handy. This would make it better. Add a toggle to keep the app floating all the time. And, add a search and replace option for text entered into SwiftText.
Otherwise, nicely done, effective, and affordable.
