What’s not to like about Calendar? Every Mac has a Calendar (formerly iCal) which can sync to iCloud which can sync to other Macs or iPhones or iPads. Calendar is free, but it’s not always convenient.
Checking Calendar events shouldn’t be a fullscreen effort. CalendarMenu brings basic Calendar functions to a click in the Mac’s Menubar. Click to display Calendar events. Select specific Calendars to view. Display pending and overdue tasks. And do it all with a click in the Menubar.
Here’s what it looks like.
One click displays the Calendar. Another click can flip the Calendar over to reveal specific Calendars.
Event details as well as tasks and reminders are a Menubar click away.
Tasks can be sorted by date or priority. Events can be hidden. Visual cues identify an event or an all day event (or, spanning multiple days).
CalendarMenu is a handy way to get quick info from Calendar. It’s worked well for me but I’ve run into a few bugs here and there. For awhile the month was incorrect but the developer has responded quickly with updates (always a good sign).
