Interesting tool that does what it says—counts words. Total number of words, total instances of words in a document, gives a sortable summary of words. The only drawback is the constant need to drop the words into Word Counter.
Text can be typed, pasted, or dragged into the window. Word Counter can automatically update the count based on a user-defined time interval. It can show the progress achieved towards a set goal for the total number of words and characters. It also can perform bulk counts on multiple files and folders simply by dropping them onto the window. Word Counter can count the number of times a particular word appears in a document.
9WR - Word Counter: Counts total words, instances of words, creates summary table.

Let your children use your Mac? Right. Like that will happen, and despite AlphaBaby, a Mac utility which lets children use your Mac without destroying your Mac. Uh huh. Right.
My kids love to play with the computer. Unfortunately, they also have the habit of renaming my hard drive to ‘axlfkaj.’ So, I wrote AlphaBaby so they could safely use the Mac without inflicting too much damage!
Too much damage? What do you expect for free?
9WR - AlphaBaby: Hides Mac screen from children, adds fun keyboard effects.
Winning the Think Different™ award for graphic image editors is Graphic Designer Toolbox (GDT). Drag and drop blocks of effects; stack the blocks, re-arrange the blocks, adjust the parameters for each block, to create stunning visual effects. Simple, elegant, efficient, useful. Think of it as a Leggo set for graphic effects on an image or photo. Read my detailed review.
GDT is about snapping building blocks together, just like those you can buy in the local toy store. Maybe you even have played with something like this when you were a kid. It’s simple to understand and use, yet you can make huge complex buildings. This building block idea is so versatile that it’s used in applications like: modular synthesizers, video editors, planning tools, etc.
