“Certified Mac Software” means I like it. Uh huh.
Minor update to the major update of the classiest photo enhancement tool for Mac users with taste. New effects, cropping, thumbnail view to manage batch changes, media browser included, cool slider functions. Very sweet. Must have. Trust me.
With an animated “drag and drop” style interface, Picturesque makes images gorgeous with tasteful effects like 3D perspective, reflection, glow, shadow, curve, and stroke in less time than it takes to open Photoshop. Picturesque can also beautify images in batch, and with the ability to resize and apply effects on a whole folder of images.
9WR - Picturesque: Photo enhancement utility features 3D, reflection, glow, shadow, strokes.
Major update to one of my favorite non-Apple Widgets. Tracks delivery status of packages from Apple, Amazon, DHL, FedEx, UPS, USPS, and many others. A must have.
Don’t waste your time checking the site constantly, just open this all-in-one delivery tracker and enter your order number or tracking number. The status will update automatically for you, and even count down the days!
9WR - Delivery Status: Free Dashboard Widget to track package delivery status automatically.
What Mozilla’s Firefox would be if it was Mac-like and didn’t have extensions. Uses the latest Firefox rendering engine strapped on to a less Windows-like user interface. Click Here to find out how to migrate from Safari (sorry, couldn’t find a link to tell us why). Oh, did I mention that Camino is fast?
A browser that is as functional and elegant as the computers it runs on. The Camino web browser is powerful, secure, and ready to meet the needs of all users while remaining simple and elegant in its design.
9WR - Camino: Mozilla’s web browser for Mac users; thin on features.
Soothing background of melodic tones; digital wind chimes; iTunes-like interface for mood chimes with bells, crystals, violins, and nature sounds. Quirky and cool at the same time.
SonicMood creates a soothing background of melodic tones… polyphonic sounds with stimulating harmonies… to have a relaxing effect.
9WR - SonicMood: Beautiful wind chimes, mood chimes, nature sounds, sensual harmonies.
Calendar and Address Book for Mac users with not enough utilities in the Menu bar. Close your eyes when visiting the BdCalendar web site. As to BdCalendar, this says it all:
BdCalendar fills the gap between Apple’s Clock not having a Calendar and instant full access to Apple’s Address Book and iCal. With just one click on your menubar, you can be viewing a Calendar, looking up addresses, checking your iCal events and To-do items without having five more items eating up your dock space or menu bar.
9WR - BdCalendar: One click Menu bar access to iCal and Address Book.
Teeny, tiny update to a great utility to upload and manage files to Amazon’s S3 Simple Storage Service of very inexpensive online file storage. JungleDisk is a one trick pony that runs on Mac OS X, Windows, Linux.
Jungle Disk makes it easy to store any data securely online, and access it from any computer just like a local disk drive… even better than adding a larger hard drive or an external USB drive to your system.
9WR - JungleDisk: Utility to back up, upload files to Amazon’s S3 service.
Weather information stuffed into a Dock icon. Also does weather in a window, the Menubar, the Desktop. From the same developer who does Dashboard KickStart. Excellent.
WeatherDock 2 has added many features allowing you to display weather information the way you want it. The new features include a fully customizable icon, a desktop icon and a menu item.
9WR - WeatherDock: Free weather utility displays current conditions in the Dock.
