“Got a favorite Mac software title? Tell me about it. I might like it, too. Or not.”
Scheduler, task manager, project manager, email manager, calendar manager, contact manager, overall business organizer. Excellent, though Daylite users need training.
Daylite keeps everything one click away—contacts, projects, opportunities, appointments, tasks, and more.
9WR - Daylite: Complex contact management system for projects, tasks, calendars, people.
Why is something that should be so easy really so hard. Try printing a list of files in a folder using the Mac’s Finder. PrintFinder does well what the Mac doesn’t do well. It prints a list of files in a folder. Not bad for free.
PrintFinder will generate a list containing both a heading and a list of your files… with a real-time preview… export to a file as .txt, .rtf, .pdf, .doc, or .html.
9WR - PrintFinder: Free utility prints list of what’s inside a folder.
Think of AIR as a container to create and run mini applications in their own private windows, combining Flash, HTML, Javascript, and other so-called Web 2.0 tools. Like Java but without the power. Bascially, Adobe is creating their own private little space on your desktop.
Adobe AIR is a cross-operating system runtime that allows web application developers to use their existing web development skills (HTML, Javascript, Adobe Flash, Adobe Flex, Ajax) to build and deploy rich Internet applications on the desktop.
9WR - Adobe AIR: Multimedia capable, cross-platform desktop environment to develop mini-applications.
Great value for web site or CD photo album creation. Clumsy Java interface, but point and click simplicity, loaded with options. Many different and sometimes attractive ‘skins’ available. None better at this price. Free.
Make website albums of your digital photographs. With JAlbum, no extra software is needed to view the albums, just your web browser. Unlike “server side” album scripts, JAlbum albums can be served from a plain web server without scripting support. You can also share your albums on CD-ROM.
9WR - JAlbum: Create website, CD photo albums, multiple skins, point, click.
Handy Menubar utility which monitors your Mac. Easy to read, unobtrusive, elegant, useful. My recent review of iStat Menus on McSolo.

9WR - iStat Menus: Free utility in Menubar to monitor your Mac’s CPU, memory, disk, more.
Our favorite Mac screen-capture-to-movie utilities now with more power. iShowU HD Pro makes capturing your Mac onscreen actions a breeze. Save your captures as QuickTime movies using one of many presets, as does iShow U (regular) but with fewer features. Both powerful, easy to use.
iShowU allows you to capture and record anything you can see on your screen, along with audio from any compatible source.
9WR - iShowU: Screen recorder, many preset options, easy setup, instant recording.
The best password manager for Mac users, now at version 3.0 (prepare to pay up again). Works with all major Mac browsers; uses OS X’s keychain or a 1Password keychain. Easy to use, handles multiple login ID’s and passwords with ease. An iPhone version is available.
Have you ever forgotten a password? 1Password keeps track of all web passwords, automates sign-in, guards from identity theft.
9WR - 1Password: Essential for password management, extra security, easy, automated log-in.
